Tissue Repair
What is TB-500?
Thymosin Beta-4 Fragment
Mechanism of Action
TB-500 is a synthetic version of a naturally occurring 43-amino acid peptide called Thymosin Beta-4 (Tβ4). It is present in virtually all human and animal cells. Research indicates TB-500 promotes cell migration and differentiation, particularly affecting actin, a cell-building protein. Studies suggest it may play a role in tissue repair, inflammation modulation, and new blood vessel formation.
